The Kahoot Krushers are a professional roofball team that currently competes in the Quentinian Roofball Organization. In that league, they are a part of the Eastern Roofball Conference, in the ERC Southeast along with the David City Bureaucrats and the Port Clinton Stallions. The Krushers have won the QRO Champions Cup once, in 1999, and play in the city of Livjessville, though they represent the entirety of the Kahoot Area. Their current coach is Yetta Jameson, and the owner of the team is Dennis McMichael.
History
The Krushers were founded in 1950, by their first owner, named Jess Hutcheson, in the small market and small population of the Kahoot Area. Early on in their existence, the team suffered from a lack of funds, resulting in a bad stadium, players, and a small fan base. However, in the mid '60s, Hutcheson was able to use her wide range of contacts and family influence to gain sponsors from the area, and in the '70s, the team got good, with players like Penetramen Freddy Barr and a new stadium, Hutcheson-Fayet Field.
However, during this time the Krushers weren't able to win the QRO Champions Cup, despite making the tournament three times. In the '80s the Krushers were nearly irrelevant and weren't very good until 1987, when the team underwent a major transformation after the hiring of head coach Leaonrd Brisque. This success continued into the '90s, and the team entered its longest period of success to that point, making the Champions Cup and winning it in 1999. Into the 2000s the team continued its success, though the team went through a rough patch from 2001 to 2007. After 2007, however, the team has been one of the better teams in the league, though they have not dominated like other teams such as the Maximum City Pitch Black or the Verisitium Vipers. The team today has one of the highest average attendance rates in the league, and has a dedicated, statewide fanbase, though its fanbase is one of the smaller overall due to the small size of the KA.
