The rank of Quartermaster in the United States of Quentin Navy is a commissioned officer tier rank whose duties include assisting the Captain, Fleet Captain, or whatever other commanding officer is in charge, as well as handling enlisted officers on a ship. This handling includes meals, payments, delivering orders from commanding officers, and handling disputes. The name "Quartermaster" is derived from the fact that the officer would be in command of the ship's quarters, or living spaces, in the early days of the Quentinian navy.
The Quartermaster rank is one of the more respected and traditional ranks in the USQ navy, as it was created by the United States of Quentin during the Quentinian War for Independence. The position is equivalent to the rank of Lieutenant Commander of the Army, Colonel of the Space Force, Master Works of the Starkkae Corps, and Colonel of the Air Force.

Insignia
The insignia for a Quartermaster consists of an arrow shaped insignia, with a blue background. The insignia includes crossed snakes in the foreground, representing the origins of Adéwalé Anagonye, one of the most notable quartermasters, from the nation of the Zwakazi Alliance. Three stars are included surrounding the snakes, and two rank strips are included on the top point of the arrow shape.
