The United States of Quentin Federal Government, also known as the Quentinian federal government or simply the federal government in the USQ is the national level of the Quentinian system of federalism, known as quasi-federalism. The federal government is the highest level of government in terms of authority in the United States of Quentin, and is set up as a Mild Republic government form. Located in northern Asper, the country is composed of 10 states and four territories, which each have lower level governments subordinate to the federal government. Established by the ratification of the Quentinian Constitution in 1834, the federal government is composed of three branches, the federal judiciary, the national legislature, called Congress, and the executive branch including the Cupboard and President.

The main function of the federal government is to create federal laws, which apply to all states and territories of the nation. The federal government also has the power to print money, wage war, establish diplomatic relations and make deals with other nations, regulate trade, enforce state and federal laws, and many more.

Name and Definition

The full name of the country as a whole is the "United States of Quentin," as established by the Constitution. Further, in 1911 Congress passed the Definition of Quentinia Proclamation, which defined the land of the country, its people, and all its economy, culture, and government as being part of the United States of Quentin. The terms federal government and state government are to be used only when describing the government, which regulates the country and are extensions of the country's sovereignty. Simply put, the federal government is a means of regulating the country only, and without the government, there would still be a country.
