The David City Bureaucrats

The David City Bureaucrats are a professional Roofball team that plays in The Quentinian Roofball Organization. In that league, the team is a part of The Eastern Roofball Conference, in The ERC Southeast along with The Kahoot Krushers and The Port Clinton Stallions. They have won The QRO Champions Cup twice, in 1995 and 2014, and play in David City, in their stadium, Brightwater Commerce Stadium. Their current coach is Robert Denjaxkson, and the owner of the team is Danielle Skizzon.

History

In 1940 the David City Bureaucrats were founded, by first owner and shipping businessman Jarold Tonisian, just in time for the league to be paused the next year. This did, however, give the team lots of time to market and build popularity, and when the league resumed in 1950, the team was extremely popular in Tantallegara as well as The Kahoot Area and even some parts of The Chip Area. The team did extremely well in their first few seasons, and gained many new fans across the country. They could never manage to win a Champions Cup, however making The Tournament multiple times.

Into the early years of the 1960's, the team was still good, but not as much as the previous decade, and soon fell into a period of obscurity and losing seasons, declining in popularity as new teams like The Kahoot Krushers and The Baltimore Lightning were very successful, and took many of the Bureaucrats' fans. This continued on into the '70s and '80s, even though through the '80s they assembled a very good team, including End Tussler Toombs Eddennis. This team, however good, couldn't compete with the big giants like The BizTown Mailers or The Minersville Miners. They did manage to make the Tournament a few years during this time, and gained many new fans.

Finally, in the mid 1990's, David City finally got a Champions Cup in 1995, led by terrific defensive Wide-Out Quashon Casey. After this, the Bureaucrats entered a period of winning, and after a few down seasons in 2005 and '06, they have kept up their streak of winning. They even won another Champions Cup in 2014, their second ever. This elite team has continued playing well to this day, and are expected to make the Tournament and be a contender nearly every year.

The team roster of the David City Bureaucrats includes 21 total players, 11 on the starting lineup, as well as 10 alternates. The starting lineup is as follows:

Starterman: Grace Sandystone, Penetramen: Lauren Habbak, Logan Thomasjaxk, Butler Admau, and Joshua Benjaminson, Wide-Outs: David Farikx, Hellakx Garonem, and Daramal Pinticon, Center Tussler: Alina Kamjek, End Tussler: Brian Bousche, and Sharpie: Fayet Jackson.

The team's roster includes a total of 10 players on their alternate lineup, which is as follows:

Starterman: Gwen Lochajax, Penetramen: Steven Kowalaski, Adam Isis, and Yetta Remanack, Wide-Outs: Quentin Garfield, Jack Malone, and Xaviex Balti, Center Tusslers: Nathaniel Johnman and Kevin Merchant, and End Tussler: Peter Saxjek.
