History

The Stallions were founded in 1942 by Patty Hillary, a member of the extremely wealthy Hillary family in the Port Clinton area. Patty was a big enthusiast of the game, and poured lots of her money into the team. They were decently successful at first, and won two conference championships in the '50s. They had a good winning percentage throughout that decade, and into the '60s continued to be successful. Finally in 1965 they won The QRO Champions Cup for the first time. Into the '70s the team continued to be successful, being led by numerous legendary players throughout these successful years, including SM Rick Chafolsky, WO Sammie Lutz, and CT Selena Lakovekx.

Suddenly, in 1978, Patty Hillary died, and the team was absolutely devastated. The new owner, Ronald Hillary, was not as willing as Patty to pour his personal money into the team, and though in 1974 they won their second Champions Cup, led by Lutz on the outside and Faskal Daps as their SM, during the '80s and early '90s the team suffered from a lack of funds, and the success of other teams tore the Stallions from the spotlight, although they still had loyal fans in the city, that was about it.

Finally, in the late 1990's the team started to become successful again, led by a new owner, Samantha Hillary, and one of the greatest coaches in terms of strategy in history, Buck Nellison. The team made it to two ERC Championships in the late '90s, but could never get to the Cup. In 2003 they got to the Cup, but lost to The Verisitium Vipers. Finally in 2005, led by WO Gwendell Stacy and defensive CT Addison Monches, they won their 3rd and most recent Champions Cup. Trying to win it again in 2007 after another successful season, they were on the verge of victory when The Shocking Miracle of 2007 happened, leading The Kumar City Shock to win.

The Stallions had a few more successful seasons, however owner Hillary wasn't satisfied with the performance, and in 2011 Nellison was fired. This kicked off a string of losing seasons for the Stallions, and today, after losing several players, the Stallions are a very mediocre team in the league, not making the Tournament since 2013.
