2020-2021 Quentinian Presidential Primary Debates
The 2020-2021 Quentinian Presidential Primary Debates are a series of political debates held by political parties in the United States of Quentin, attempting to choose their candidates for the 2022 Presidential Election. Traditionally, there are two debates held by both the Mild RePublican Party and the [[Fundamentalist Party] in 2020, and the first two were held by the Mild RePublicans and Fundamentalists respectively on October 24th and October 25th. The Environmentalist Party is scheduled to hold its first primary debate on November 3rd, with the Freelance Party and other minor parties holding their primary debates in mid-November. After the November debates, The Mild RePublicans and Fundamentalists are scheduled to hold their second debates on December 13th and December 6th respectively, with the Environmentalists having their second debates scheduled for January 5th. These debates lead up to the respective party conventions, including the 2021 Mild RePublican Party Convention, the 2021 Fundamentalist Party Convention, and the 2021 Environmentalist Party Convention, where the parties will choose their candidates.

Mild RePublican Debates
The format for all Mild RePublican primary debates is the Quentinian Debate Format, which features a number of topics organized into a number of sections by the moderator. Each of these sections allow for statements by each of the candidates, which last the same for each candidate, and then an open forum where the candidates each have the same amount of time to contribute, and when they want to add to the open discussion, they press a time clock, beginning their time and stopping the time of whoever else was talking. This goes on until the conversation is resolved, and then the moderator moves on to the next section.
October 24th
The first Mild RePublican Party debate was held on October 24th, 2020, and featured 9 candidates from around the country. Unlike in the second debate, all candidates who chose to run for President under the Mild RePublican Party, registered with the party's debate commission, and had support from at least one convention member were able to participate in the debate. The debate was held at Chris Lee Hall in Kindikil, DA from 8:45 to 10:15 PM, and was covered by DTN and QBC on television, and TBS on radio and television. The moderators for the debate were Chrissy Teagan, Jonathan McMillan, and Gus Landry from the Quentinian Gazette. The event's ultimate ratings were the highest since 2008, as incumbent Kyle Lovestington decided not to run for the first time since then.

After the October 24th debate, polls were again taken by the Mild RePublican Polling Commission, and below are the results after the debate.

The top three performers in the debates as compiled by the Quentinian Gazette were Representative Riley Frye, Governor Rajesh Muduganti, and GTNEC Steve Shamji, while the consensus worst performer according to many platforms was Governor William Huelsenbekk, who dropped 4% in the polls after the debate. Some platforms praised the amount of diversity at the debate, as states such as Snowland, Long Beach Island, and the Multi-Logan State were represented, a change from the usual Desert Area and Grassland Area dominated Mild RePublican debates.
