Humakavula originated from the planet Magarathaine, which was plagued by global warming causing floods and numerous other natural disasters. Soon, the planet released toxic gases after global warming melted the ice caps on his planet, causing most on the planet to die. Humakavula's race had abilities to perform advanced mystic teleportation, and so his parents opened up a portal to send Humakavula away from the planet, to Venturia. Once arriving on Venturia, Humakavula was just three years old, and was soon taken in by Albreight Dengolakx, an 18 year old intelligent professor at Switzer City University. Despite having no training in the mystic ways of his race, Humakavula (now named Zachariah by his adopted father) awakened his powers at 7 years old when a tornado struck the city, protecting his father and discovering his powers. Magarathaines grow up faster than humans, and in a year Humakavula was 21, close to the age of his adopted father, who became a friend and ally for Humakavula. Soon the two moved to David City to escape the tornado that had destroyed Switzer City, and Humakavula began to fight crime and develop his abilities.
Humakavula's powers include mainly the ability to use mystical magic to fly, give himself super strength, possess others, and use that mystical energy to shoot charged beams of light. Because Humakavula's planet was drastically colder than Venturia, he is unaffected by most cold or warm temperatures, and can fly deep into space or the ocean, breathing oxygen by generating a shield of mystic energy. This ability to fly into space has made him the prime representative for Venturia to the rest of the galaxy, and in many comics and the movie series, Humakavula is shown working with governments of other planets to protect the galaxy, often along with Maximumjedi. Besides Maximumjedi and his adopted father, Humakavula has numerous allies, including his friend and sometimes love interest Queenah Lewis, along with Frank Giles, leader of the Interdepartmental Committee on Extraordinary Crime's Tantallegara division. Humakavula also has many enemies, with his two main enemies being the Deadly Hankerchief, a Venturian criminal with many abilities, and Zaphod the Destroyer, a galactic conqueror and terrorist. Brineskull and Columntorcher are two of Humakavula's less powerful enemies, however they still cause chaos in David City and around the country.
Humakavula is part of the elite and most popular tier of QUACK! Comics superheroes, and is immensely popular for his relatability to people of the Jumange ethnicity, in places such as Tantallegara, the Chip Area, Paladinia, and the Multi-Logan State. Humakavula has been consistently the best-selling comic in those areas, although he does not attain the national popularity of others like Good Hope and Noir. Humakavula is a part of the QUACK! Studios' cinematic universe, and has upcoming appearances in Maximumjedi: Legions in 2022 as well as Knights of Life in late 2022.
