Mocking Day

Mocking Day (August 20), is the national holiday of satire and sarcasm in The Republic of Megatridimensional Order. The highlight is the Mocking Day Parade, when satire of the national government is highly encouraged in floats and marching groups. The government is required by law to enter a float in the parade mocking whatever action it has done in the last year that is voted least popular in a nation wide vote. The Prime Minister is required by law to attend.

Criticism of Mocking Day has increased since 2010, with many claiming it has become an all-inclusive excuse for what are perceived as government tyranny or injustice the rest of the year. In addition, The Osuda is considering a lawsuit regarding the perceived weakness of the mockery in recent Mocking Day floats required by the government.
