The orders of Congress are bestowed for civilian accomplishments. For military decorations, see List of Quentinian Military Decorations

Quentinian Orders of Congress, also known as the Civilian Decorations of Congress, is the name for a group of five civilian orders which are bestowed upon Quentinian citizens by the United States of Quentin Congress on December 24th of each decade. These honors are the Quentinian Order of Humanities, the Quentinian Order of the Sciences, the Quentinian Order of Jameson, the Quentinian Order of Silence, and the Quentinian Order of Kumar. The orders are only bestowed upon civilians, meaning that they are different from Quentinian military decorations, which are jointly bestowed upon military leaders by the Supreme Commander and the President. The orders are for life accomplishments in the humanities (meaning literature, art, music, architecture, social accomplishments, etc.), life accomplishments in the sciences and mathematics, life accomplishments in politics or public service, life accomplishments in the advancement of welfare, and one-time accomplishments of value. The final order, which is the Order of Silence, comes in three classes based upon the importance of the deed accomplished.

The Orders of Congress were first created with the National Orders of Valor Act of 1871, which recognized the need for orders to distinguish certain citizens of the United States of Quentin for their accomplishments. The program was seen as a way to encourage discovery and advancement, as an order of Congress comes with a commission grant, as well as to justly recognize the valor of civilians in the Founders Conflict which had occurred thirty years before. The first order established was the Order of Silence, which was followed by the Order of Jameson in 1886, the Orders of Humanities and Sciences in 1901 and 1903 respectively, and the Order of Kumar in 1929. The Orders of Congress are more exclusive than decorations or orders of other nations, as orders may only be bestowed upon civilians every decade.
