Refraberries, also known scientifically as Denargenns Quneasperiax, are a plant that grows in large quantities only in The United States of Quentin, and are known most for the fruit it produces, and that is consumed around the world. Refraberries are consumed widely and shipped around the world, and can be both eaten by themselves as well as used as flavoring in ice cream, drinks such as Refrazz, fruit flavored jams, and even toothpaste and lipstick.

Refraberries first became known to the world as a whole in the late 1790's, as Republic of Megatridimensional Order settlers in the area that is now the USQ saw them growing everywhere. As more and more settlers came, and the area was named The Territories of Quentin, the settlers started cultivating the refraberries in large amounts, and soon were exporting them to their mother country. Today refraberries are exported by the hundreds of thousands of tons, with the USQ profiting greatly from their berry monopoly. In recent years scientists from Paladinia have attempted to transplant the refraberries onto their own soil, however with little success.

History

As far back as 1500 B.C., people of The Logasa Empire, a vast and culturally advanced civilization in what is today the USQ, cultivated the refraberries in small amounts. They did this for consumption and flavorings, but mainly used them for religious ceremonies, using the juice as face paint and presenting the berries to their gods.
