The SS Baux was a transport ship designed in the Republic of Trigadia, and which later sailed to J.P. Island under the authority of the Billings Game Commission. The Game Commission was involved in numerous gambling and prostitution rings in Trigadia, and in February of 2020 shipped large amounts of heroin and cocaine to J.P. Island, a federal territory of the United States of Quentin, aboard the SS Baux. The crew of the Baux attempted to pass off the heroin, which is illegal in most territories and states of the USQ, as bawhacka, which is legal in J.P. Island. The illegal drugs then passed inspection in the territory, and made their way across the Lankanata Ocean on the Baux. The ship ran into turbulent waters near Long Beach Island, and somewhere around July 22nd, crashed off the coast of Long Beach Island.

The next day, July 23rd, the Baux wreck was discovered by the Kade Islands Territorial Defense Force, which was running exercises with the Quentinian Navy in the ocean. The defense force ship searched the Baux, and found the illegal drugs. Later, experts from the Quentinian Intelligence Department identified the drugs as heroin, and the Department of Law Enforcement disposed of them. Later, analysts found from the ship's log that the Baux had been headed for Paladinia, likely to be sold in the markets of Warrenton. The Baux was scrapped by Quentinian authorities later in July, and the Billings Game Commission which authorized the venture was banned from operations in the USQ, with members being banned also.
