Franklin Stevenson was a 17th century explorer who was born in Procantinac, in The Protectorates of Allia. Stevenson's many explorations include his first, in 1604, that discovered many parts of southern Zwakazi continent, which was believed until that time not to exist, but to just be an island, New Sketherlands. Xevenia, a modern day country on the continent, was one of the main regions he explored, and was named for his last name (Stevenson, which includes Steve, and an X could make an s sound, so Xevenia). He also is credited with opening up The Northern Patrons of Ice to the rest of the world. He made his explorations by ship, sailing most of the time from Procantinac. He, unlike other explorers of the time, was privately funded, by investors and his own wealth from his distilling business.
