The Rufos National Xevalhemia Team represents the Island of Rufos and the city of Callaghanis, Comdantri Nortellus in international men's xevalhemia competitions. Controlled by the Comdantri Association of Xevalhemia, the Rufos National team is recognized by the International Federation of Xevalhemia (IFX), and the Venturian Union Bureau of Recreation. The only national team in men's xevalhemia play which is not a member of the Venturian Union, the Rufos team developed in the late 1900's after the island of Rufos gained far greater prominence in the sport than the rest of the country. This came after its premier club, Callaghanis XC, was accepted into the Stratigeo League. After this acceptance in 1990, the Comdantri Xevalhemia Association agreed to a deal allowing Rufos to play separately in international competition. The year after, in 1991, the Rufos National Team won the Xevalhemia World Tournament, further solidifying its independent status. Rufos continues to be successful today in both interconference competition and intraconference competition, finishing near the top of many recent World Tournaments and competing well within the Oceanic Confederation of Xevalhemia (OCX).
