After the conclusion of the regular season, the league's playoff tournament began on April 2nd, 2021, comprising four rounds which concluded with the 2021 QRO Champions Cup on May 2nd. There, the champion Minersville Miners of the ERC played the champion Rodriguezville Ravagers of the WRC, with the Ravagers defeating the Miners 400-280 to become world roofball champion. The season saw the Liberation City Cyclones move to the new Bismark-Stevenson Dome, which also hosted the 2021 Champions Cup, and also marked one of the few times a QRO team has won the Champions Cup after not making the tournament the previous year.

- Steve Maxxson, head coach of the Mechanicsburg Businessmen, mutually parts ways with the team on April 29th, to pursue coaching opportunities at Old Traditional College. Maxxson is replaced by Jimmy DeTurner on July 29th.

Stadium Changes
- The Liberation City Cyclones move from Penseljekx Stadium to the Bismark-Stevenson Dome, both in Liberation City. The new stadium was completed in May of 2020, and has a current seating capacity of 116,420.
